Application Forms and Joining Instructions for Juniors are circulated in Spring to:
existing Junior Sailing members those who have expressed an interest (please contact us to get your name on the list)
The closing date for completed Applications is 30th March and all Applicants are invited to a taster day in April.
If you miss these dates, please contact us as we will be running additional taster days later in the year. Depending on numbers, we can sometimes fit late-comers in as the season progresses. Failing that, you will be top-of-the waiting list for the following year.
The cost of Junior Sailing is £80 for RDYC members and £150 for non-members. (Note that if you are a non-member and wish to join RDYC as a Junior Member, you will reduce your Junior Sailing costs.)
Your Junior Sailing fee covers:
* 12 Saturday training sessions
0930 to 1230 (alfoat 1000 to 1200)
* 1 session of team racing
* 5 evening races in a Junior Points
Series
Since places are limited, we ask that you only apply if you are able to commit to at least 8 of the Saturday sessions.
Please note that if the Club is oversubscribed, we select on the basis of maturity, age, keeness to sail and time on the waiting list.
